In a significant move underscoring the surging popularity of women’s sports, BetMGM has become the exclusive online casino and sportsbook partner of the WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces. The multi-year agreement extends through the 2027 WNBA season.
This partnership marks BetMGM’s first major collaboration with a women’s professional sports franchise. As part of the deal, BetMGM branding will feature prominently throughout Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, the Aces’ home court, and across the team’s social media platforms. BetMGM players will gain unique benefits, including courtside access to pregame shootarounds and luxury seating for VIPs during Aces home games.
Concurrently, BetMGM has been named an authorized gaming partner of the WNBA league itself, also running through 2027. This league-wide deal grants BetMGM commercial inventory during nationally televised games, WNBA tickets and experiences for VIP players, rights to co-branded content on BetMGM’s platforms, and featured articles on wnba.com/WNBABet. Notably, BetMGM plans to launch the first-ever WNBA-branded online slot game, exclusive to its platform in jurisdictions where iGaming is legal.
Highlighting the strategic importance, BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt stated, as quoted on the Las Vegas Aces official website:
As we enter this era of tremendous growth in women’s sports, BetMGM could not have two better organizations to partner with than the WNBA and the Aces. Not only do the Aces play in our backyard at Mandalay Bay, but they share our commitment to giving back to the community.
This community commitment is central to the partnership. BetMGM and the Aces launched the “BetMGM Steals for Meals” program in collaboration with The Just One Project, a nonprofit addressing food insecurity in Southwest Nevada. For every steal the Aces make at Michelob ULTRA Arena during the partnership, BetMGM will donate $50 to provide meals for families in need.
The partnership arrives amidst explosive growth in WNBA betting. BetMGM app reported a 133% year-over-year increase in WNBA betting handle during the 2024 season. The operator app now offers expanded betting markets, including player props, odds on the Commissioner’s Cup, and enhanced playoff offerings, reflecting the league’s rising profile.
