Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a dramatic Super Bowl victory Sunday, giving the quarterback three rings at age 28. He’s creeping toward Tom Brady in “Greatest of All Time” conversations, thanks to his remarkable success before turning 30.
Given Mahomes’ ability to carry a team, there’s ample reason to believe the Chiefs could rattle off their third consecutive Super Bowl victory next season.
It’s the team Mahomes just beat in a Super Bowl for a second time, however, that’s currently viewed by multiple FanDuel to hoist the Lombardi Trophy next year. The Chiefs are slightly behind, with +750 odds to win the 2025 Super Bowl.
As always, it’s worth line shopping across different Caesars Sportsbook has San Francisco as the betting favorite, but the 49ers hold +575 odds instead of +450 at FanDuel.

In addition to the 49ers and Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens (+900), Detroit Lions (+1200), and Buffalo Bills (+1200) are all viewed as top Super Bowl contenders on FanDuel going into the 2024-25 season.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson won MVP honors this season, although he’s still yet to reach a Super Bowl in his promising career. The Ravens lost a home game to the Chiefs in this year’s AFC Championship.
Neither the Lions nor the Bills have ever won a Super Bowl, with Buffalo losing four in a row from 1991 to 1994. The Lions have never even appeared in the Super Bowl, although they came close this season. A blown double-digit lead in the NFC Championship ended those dreams.
